Program Manager


Function

The Program Managers have the overall responsibility for quoting, planning, and managing projects to meet requirements within deadlines and budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and external resources in order to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for creating “ Electronic Program Document” maintaining ALL elements within. Reference Project Management Checklist.
  • Manage APQP Checklist F730.013 and manage Internal Kickoff meeting F730.001
  • Manages customer projects in strict adherence to Procedures, Engineering Project Templates, and ISO guidelines.
  • Creates Program plans, schedules, Timelines, and task lists to assure delivery, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Assist Tooling Engineer with coordinating design efforts for customer molds and equipment, ensures implementation of design and construction standards and guidelines for molds and custom equipment, and leads and coordinates into production.
  • Coordinates the evaluation of customer supplied molds and custom equipment and recommends, documents, and implements improvements.
  • Assures validation of equipment and processes where required.

  • Work with Engineering Assistant to ensure PDP Books are populated and ready for Internal Roundtable meeting prior to scheduling Lineside sample for final signoffs.
  • Liaison to the customer during the program life cycle.
  • Attending account calls to support the sales team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned such as supporting RFQ process “Filemaker”

Required Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering science or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in injection molding process with ability to quote cost.
  • Basic Blueprint Reading (GD&T)
  • Proficient in robust mold design and terminology
  • Understand basic fundamentals of Scientific Molding
  • CAD Literate (UG, Solidworks, NX)
  • Proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Reports To:
Engineering Manager
Work Environment: Engineering Office
Physical Requirements: Minimal lifting, normally less than 25 lbs.
Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science or equivalent experience.
